PRAISE REPORT ED CARRS MIRACLE of HEALING This is a praise report regarding my brother Ed Carr who was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer mid June of this year. Shortly after hearing about his illness we traveled to Iowa to be the family as they began to process the possibility of my brothers terminal illness. Upon returning to our home in Cleveland TN we sent out an e-mail and prayer request to many of you for my brother Ed. Within the past few months he has undergone radiation and chemo treatments. He has endured many weeks of severe illness and bleeding as result of this illness that has afflicted his body for over five years. In a weakened condition from the illness and the medical treatments Ed continued to preach on Sundays and to seek God through the study of Gods Word and fervent prayer. Our family and friends such as your self continued to cover him with prayer and fasting. Day after day he became weaker and weaker and his countenance became more discolored. Several weeks ago he felt desperate for a touch from God. The Spirit of the Lord began to minister to him and challenge him to speak Gods word and promises directly to the area diseased by cancer. Shortly after he acted in obedience to Gods wooing he began to notice a difference in the coloring of his eyes. The yellow and brownish color that for weeks had overtaken the white area began to dissipate. Although he was in an extremely weakened state, Ed prepared his van with a bed and had his wife drive him several hundred miles to a ministry noted for their healing anointing. Within hours his strength began returning to him. Last week he went back to the doctors for another scan and examination. There were no white areas signifying cancer cells located around his liver etc as in previous scans. The large cancerous tumor in his colon is gone! To the doctors amazement there is no scar tissues in the area where the cancerous tumor was previously located. This is an absolute miracle! The other day upon our arrival in Iowa Ed was mowing his lawns and finishing a full day work! Enclosed are photos of my brother Ed. The first photo was taken in June when we learned of his illness the second photo was taken September 20th! We Thank God for this Awesome Miracle! Thank you for your Prayers! And for His Healing Power That he has made available Through the Atonement! Entered by: J.E. Anniskette |

(January 2004)
African Miracles As published: Winter 2003 Save Our World Publication Church of God World Missions By: Terrah Brinson For over 30 years Glen and Julia Anniskette have been obedient to the call of God in their lives. In 1972, they married and began their full time evangelistic ministry together as International Missionary Evangelists. They have preached around the world with the message of Jesus Christ, in five African countries, Australia, England, Fiji, Germany, India, Indonesia, New Zealand, Philippines, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, and the West Indies. As missionary evangelists, they preach and reach the lost, and assist in planting new churches. They also help train national workers. On a trip to Uganda, Africa, God performed a miracle. Julia tells the story. We were intrigues by the beauty of our surroundings and learned that we were in the vicinity of where the movie Gorillas in the Mist had been filmed. A hotel was located for us, and we settled into our new surroundings. The next morning we were transported, over rugged train, to a little church with a thatched roof. We ministered to the church family, and plans were made to conduct an evangelistic outreach in a rural village about five miles away. The next day we went to the place where the spontaneous crusade was to be conducted. After a good amount of walking, we arrived at a place where two marginal roads met. The believers that journeyed with us began to sing songs of worship with the accompaniment of only an African drum. Little by little, the people came and before long there was a large gathering of people ready to hear the preaching of Gods Word. It was a challenging setting as we had come from well organized evangelistic crusades with modern technology to this simple rural setting. But Glen preached and ministered the Word of God as though there thousands in attendance. The altar call was given, and a number of people came forward to receive Christ as their personal Savior. Among those who came forward was a young woman whose legs were fastened with heavy chains. The story regarding the circumstance was related to us following the service. Apparently, a year prior to our visit, the young woman had gone insane. Sometimes, she would have violent manifestations beating people or running away from her family and home. In an attempt to deal with the problem, the parents were notified by the local police that they could go to the market place and buy chains to constrain their daughters actions, or she would be placed in prison with the regular prisoners. To avoid the latter, the parents purchased the chains and constrained their daughter. You could see where the flesh had grown and the chains were embedded into the young womans legs. Our hearts were broken by the plight of the situation, and we prayed fervently for Gods hand of deliverance to be manifested. Glen spoke to the family through the translator and told then that he was going to pray three prayers. The first was to bind the spirit of insanity. The second prayer was for the young woman to be restored to her right mind. The third was for her to receive Christ as her personal Savior. As an act of faith at the conclusion of prayer, the chains were removed from the young womans legs. It was unknown how she would respond to the prayer or the chains being removed but after the chains were removed, she sat without disturbance. The next morning we returned to the area to conduct a meeting for the believers. The young woman was among those in attendance. At first her countenance was sad, and she sat expressionless in the meeting. Each day we began to see a change in her countenance and mannerisms. On Sunday morning, she walked into church. When Glen spoke to her, a huge smile went across her face. In that service she testified of Gods saving power. The following year we met the church leader at the General Assembly. Glen questioned him regarding the state of the young woman who had been bound by literal chains. He reported that the young woman now witnesses to others about the victorious power of our Lord Jesus Christ, that she manages her own little business traveling back and forth across the border to Rwanda, and that she is now a member of the Church of God in that rural village! Praise God for His greatest miracle to mankind salvation! Entered by: Terrah Brinson & Julia Anniskette |
